अन मग जरा हवा करा. facebook वर वगैरे टाका 'Bought new camera n it 's awesome!'
haan.
Thats it!

This made us forget about turning back. And on second day we went forward to 'Funal Paani' which is at 9,500ft. This second day trek was pretty simple and weather was also very good. Tents were on slopes. We slept at one position n woke up at the end of slope :)
Third day trek was kind of difficult because of heavy rain. Path was very slippery. Me and one of my friend reached the third camp (Jirmi - 11,000ft) early and found this Glassy looking sky above us...
It was good that we reached a little early because then we found out the path became even more slippery and that people formed chains to climb up.
At night we gathered for campfire. We looked up and we were astonished to see thousands of stars that we never able to see in city. My eyes were my camera that time. No man-made camera can capture such a beauty.
We were around 60 when we started. But there were only 24 of us when we started for Tila- Lotni camp. Everybody else returned to base camp from Jirmi coz they had no extra cloths after two days rain.
Our group was smaller so we moved faster.. At around 12,000ft I saw these cows n oxen taking a break or something and I was like - "What?? How on earth they reached at this height?" I took the photograph.
I like the colours involved in this photo.
Tila-lotni. 12,500ft about sea level. You know, lot of my friends at US keep telling me how they hate snow and snow fall. But if you climbed for 3 days and then what you see is something like this (check below pic) then how can you even think of hating it..
We Just loved Tila-lotni Camp.. It was like heaven.. correction. It was heaven.. Pure white snow all around the camp area. and beautiful peaks like these.
We slept little early.. and woke up at 10 at night because of freaking cold... scary... but then again slept woke up at 2:30am and started packing. It was D-day. First ray of light and we started climbing up. Here we were companied by two trained Sherpas who had a lot of experience. climb was getting more n more difficult. firstly because there was no grip and secondly because there was lack of oxygen.
But when we reached top, we were at 13,800 feet. For the first time in my life. It was amazing. Like top of the world.
It was around 7:30 in the morning. Sun was just above the horizon. I faced the sun. Felt like I'm challenging the sun god. I guess he took the challenge n gave me a Sun-Burn :( But no matter.. It was waaay too awesome to think about this stuff.
I took the below pic of my friend at 13,800ft. I like it becase of Black shadow - White snow combination. This pic, I think, looks great.

I wanna change that.. I want some hobby which's independent of all these things.. I've started learning guitar again.. This time I'm not joining any class.. I'll be learning at home..I was just thinking about how we are now almost totally dependent on all these things now.. Those days are now almost gone when people used to collect stamps or coins or even matchbox covers as a hobby :)
btw, if you have any hobby independent of all these things n also not depended on whether itsa day or night lemme know :)
PS: plz don't suggest book reading.. :P

10Comments Creating virtual reality
So, after spending 16 hours, I've come across some really interesting things that I'd like to share.
Rather, I wanna put those in some place like blog so that I can look at it after few years n check whether those were true for me.
See, how I live my life, and how my friends/family think I live my life, is ideally should be same. But I think, its impossible. In fact, I purposefully, consciously, make sure they don't know about my 'internal affairs'. [And I think this applies to everybody].
Let me explain, you share your thoughts, experiences, emotions with people you care. Do you share everything? No. you share only those things that you think are either neutral or really nice. You also share some bad thoughts 'As long as it's not related to them'. I'll not go n tell my friend that I hate this this you do.. If I can, I'll most probably just ignore it.. You still hate it.. but you ignore it.. Same thing is other way round. You know or you think this person will hate me if I tell this thing. You choose not to share it.
So the thing is, say you have a big friends group. You always meet in a group. In this case, you cannot tell a single thing you hate about any of them. and you cannot share anything you did, that you think they will hate. So the things you share is less than 50%
These people know me less 50% .. They know the image of myself that I'm creating for them. n vice versa.. I'm sure if I don't know these guys as well as I think. We live in virtual reality.
Crazy eh?
I'll surely enjoy my life now with this realization (sarcasm).. Fake Me gotta go.. so cutting it here.
Enjoy your life now, if you can. or.. curse 'virtual' me if you want.
If you do not think its true, I'm really jealous of you.
~ By Prajwalit, that you think you know. :)

Alcohol is not the solution to the problems of our times.....but neither is milk!
Nice one. I wanted to share this with my friends, but the problem was it was originally totally in upper case -
ALCOHOL IS NOT THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS OF OUR TIMES.....BUT NEITHER IS MILK!So I robotically (automatically you may say) opened firebug. wrapped the quote in quotes n called toLowerCase function.
"ALCOHOL IS ... ".toLowerCase().replace("al", "Al");
I wanna consider this as a good sign.. thinking everything *programatically*.
But at the same time it can be a bad sign.. thinking *everything* programatically.

6Comments Oops. The flight you have requested...
While I was coming back to Mumbai, my flight number was 404.
At the boarding counter me n these airline guys had following conversation-
'Sir, just go down stairs you'll find our bus. It'll take you to your plane.'
'And what if I couldn't find it?'
'huh?'
'hehe. I was just kidding. you know, because the flight number is 404. hehe.'
(they looked at one another)
'well. 404 on internet means file not found. forget it... thanks anyways.'
n then I went down-stairs silently but rapidly.
Seriously, was that a lame joke? or they just didn't know what 404 means..
come on.. everyone knows what 404 means :)
-----------
Just another thought -
May be they should use same protocol.
400s n 500s are may be not common but well known in case of airlines.
Technical issues, not able to connect to the tower, not able to find a flight (like LOST for eg), internal engine issues..
yeah, right? what say?

9Comments Long time no c..
Really? read this then.. #include "stdio.h"But I can't.. I can't because of my own rules..
Lets go through our basics first. IM, Instant messaging is build in such a way that we can type only one line at a time...Well, there's a reason behind it.. humans can read only one f*kin line at a time... I hate when people copy paste something in IM. In my case, most of the times, this copy pasted thing is some huge snippet of code.. (huge snippet, is this a valid phrase?)
Hey, can you have a look at this ? DHAM!!
Hey, please check this. DHAM!!
Looks like there's something wrong in this. DHAM!!
Hey, any idea why this is not working? DHAM!!
.. and then I changed my function to this. DHAM!!
now replace DHAM with that "huge snippet" but keep the DHAM sound ringing in your ears.
Taking it to next level, some people write something in between..
//huge code
this is better or this is -
//again huge code.
I takes me like 5-10 mins to find the text in-between...
I really can't.. I won't use IM for debugging.. this is crazy.. one second you are looking at nice lil chat window with text that you know, next thing you have poor lil window cluttered with non-sense code..
Even a smallest bug looks like really crazy, creepy bug in IM. And yet, every time I try resizing my window to fit the length of that code and try to understand it. No need to say I don't understand a thing in it..
So people.. IM is not for sucha things.. may be you have wave for that (yey! found first use of google wave!)
Think about person on the other side... think about your children (huh?), think about poor lil IM window and stop pasting code in chat window...
[Else I'll start pasting wikipedia articles in that window]

I hate those when there's nothing to do. I'm not saying I enjoy working 24x7. I'm not a robot. but sitting at home spending time in front of computer watching movies, listening to songs doesn't do any good either.
Just 1-2 years back, in college days, I used to spend time on these things and was enjoying. But m not enjoying it anymore.
Repetition sucks... In case of coding, in case of life-style.
I need some holiday.. Not just long weekend.. more than that.
The problem is, I tried the same few months back. And i was in same state of mind after only a week of that long holiday...
Gotta learn how to live in this corporate thingy.
n its not life if you are getting answers to your questions easily.
damn.. life isn't simple.. its not meant to be.

3Comments How bikers are classified...
- How bikers are classified ?
Newbies, followers(lane-switchers), Leaders, Raintors, Mavericks
Newbies: Some dumb bikers... They don't know difference between riding a bike on the road n driving a car on road... no lane-switching no pass-thro's. They just follow the car in front of them...
Followers: These are also known as lane-switchers. They possess some skills that normally every 'Mumbaikar' rider possesses. They Pass through the gap between two lanes... But mostly they are followers... They just follow other followers or leaders.
Leaders: Leaders have their own class. When you look at them, u know - this guy's bike leader. They actually lead the troop of followers...
Raintors: Raintors (Rain Mentors) are special kind of leaders... Here in mumbai riding bike in rain is difficult task if there's no Raintor to follow... Raintors are... u know... advance n experienced rides.. they know where the road is plane... where we can go thro water. If its raining, followers 'blindly' follow raintors... no exception...
Mavericks: In mumbai all bike rides are like a group... You will hardly get to see two riders not riding side-by-side. But there are some Mavericks, they are followers having capacity to be a Leader. They separate themselves from group n try to explore new paths throught cars... sometimes they succed, some times fail... If succed, they start a new flow of bikers... n become Leader of that flow.
If we take speed as property then bikers are classefied in following classes -
BeCars, SignalSwifts, Masters
BeCars: they are almost same as Novice riders... They hardly overtake any car...
(Avg speed: 30-40km/hr)
SignalSwifts: They go zigzag through cars n reach first row at signals...
(Avg speed: 40-50km/hr)
Masters: They go zigzag through cars which are moving at a constant speed (normally 40km/hr)... Very difficult to achieve this level... Rider requires stamina, Gap calculation logic, speed control.
(Avg speed: 50-60km/hr)

6Comments The city that.... ohh forget it!
/* १०/०७/२००८ */
(what the hell ?)
(good for you...)
"hmm"
(????) "hmm"
I guess that's bcoz "it's The City That Never Stops Talking"...

10Comments Red Sun Rises....
There I was… Sitting at the same place… glowing as usual… looking at my fellow Stars, twinkling…
We are of many kinds… small stars… big stars… glowing stars… shooting stars… "starz" .... Each of us unique in different ways… But still we are friends… very good friends…
So all of us were sitting there that day. Wait. Day, or night ?… that was a special night…
It was about time… a few minutes to sunrise… a few moments to a Brand New Day!
I looked at my fellow Stars once again… for the last time…
And then we all watched the rays of the Red Sun… and disappeared !
I could see no one now… It was not that I didn't like experiencing that New Day… but I was missing my friends nonetheless…
But then I realized… even if they all are gone at that moment, they will come back in the evening... same time same place… for another whole night…
...
During these four years I realized... we all are from different places, from different backgrounds, we speak different languages… but, our heart speaks only one language… the language of friendship…
We all gonna take different paths from here… new jobs… higher studies… but After A Long Day's Work, We Will Be Here Again... Every Evening…Together…With All Friends…

3Comments An 'I' for an 'I'...
The discussion was about changes in view towards other people... friends, relatives or general acquaintances...
one of the friend's view is worth telling..
so here it is. -
He said,
We all are becoming more and more selfish these days... See... We dunno who lives in neighborhood unless we want to borrow so sugar...
We hangout with friends if there's absolutely nothing to do. If we have LOST or PB on comp then we just 'hang the phone' instead of 'hangout' saying "Not today, buddy"...
In fact, when someone's dead we become sad not because 'He was a good man'... but because 'now I'm not going to get such a good time' anymore...
Approach towards "the others" is changing...
We all are nothing but liars... A good friend is one who can lie better than other "friends"...
'I love you' means I love you temporarily.. till i get better one...
I say I hangout with friends a lot... we go to movies... to vaishali... relax... but the reality is I hangout because I don't have any other better means to pass that time...
I personally don't approve this philosophy... But, I don't see any points which proves it wrong...

3Comments Through the Looking Glass...
The room was dark... just a small bulb. There were people sitting... But they didn't even bothered to see me... as if i was not there only. I went to one of those and asked him for help... He didn't answer... Then I realised... Those were just statues... I realized no one's going to help me... no one's going to talk to me...
There were two small windows on opposite sides... I went to first window... there were those men who pushed me inside that room... and also upstairs...
Then I went to opposite window... I couldn't believe what I saw - I saw me... n my friends sitting n chitchatting... doing timepass... making fun of each other... all were happy...
Suddenly door opened, one of the guards came inside, took one of the statue and went, locking the door again... I took that chair... and sat near that window... I was watching through that window again and again...
I was scared - If i didn't watch and forget all those moments... I thought... I'll be turned into statue... like those people...
(PS: I know kinda difficult to understand what it's all about... just a hint... those papers were graduation certificate n mark sheets...)

6Comments Next 1000 seconds after those 10 seconds
My leg was stuck between next seat and the left side of bus... somehow i managed to pull it off. I stood there on the road... just a thin layer of glass window between... the other passenger who was with me was still "sleeping".. unconscious may be.. The only thing i wanted achieve at that time was getting out... I saw the handles of seats... put them in right way... n then used them as ladder of 4-5 steps... Afta 3rd step i realised the 'plastic glass' window is still intact... Glass may be the brittle substance... but considering strength left and also the position i was in, twas the hardest material for me... after 10-12 kicks there was a hole big enough to pass through...
After next few minutes I was outside... standing on right side of bus... I saw one car upside down... red color on the road... few people... I jumped on the road... Let me tell you... Climbing up is the easiest job compared to jumping down when you are hurt... Pain... Was blanked for few seconds.. again... Then some guys came... gave me water... I told them there are other ppl in the bus... unconscious... they went to help them...
After the whole incidence I realized that I should have helped that guy... the guy sitting with me on the back side... there was water bottle in my sack... at least just to check whether he's conscious or not... But I didn't.... I dunno why... May be I was shocked... May be I was afraid that he might be dead... But then I realized... My first aim, like anyone other in that bus, was to "Survive"...

m totally all right :)
